This was another of my clever photos. After setting it all up with me on an earth embankment, two lamers came over and took the exact same photo. Most tourists walk straight into the temple and miss this shot. I walked all the way around the temples first.
Banteay Srei is in the main park so your pass works, but it was about a 40Km drive to this temple. It is small but has very intricate carvings. You definitely need to rent a moto or better still a car to journey to the further afield temples. I spent so much time on the back of a moped this day I got badly sun burnt but only on the tops of my thighs and the back of my calves.
This temple is very popular as it is pink. I could never get a picture from the front without people in it, according to my journal. I had lunch here. When you buy lunch your moto driver gets to eat for free so it is good to not starve your moto driver, they don't have much money. My moto driver Ng Jay was arranged by the Norwegians.
