This was one of my more inspired photos. It was actually taken before the previous one. Baeng Maelia because it is so overgrown and ruinous is actually fairly dangerous. I saw a lot of bugs and even a snake. My impromptu guide was impressed that the snakes and bugs didn't bother me. I told him I was Canadian. The impromptu guides don't know much but they kind of follow you around, keep you from wandering off. As I was the only tourist that day at that time I had two impromptu guides, one who was completely unable to speak English. They didn't add much to the tour, but they enjoyed watching me carefully set up the photos. At the end they held out their hand so I tipped them a couple of bucks.
